Barista Position

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality coffee with consistent latte art
  • Deliver excellent customer service and table service
  • Assist with all-rounder duties including taking orders, food running, and cleaning
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirements

  • Proven barista experience with strong latte art skills
  • Ability to work confidently as an all-rounder
  • Experience in fast-paced hospitality environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be available all days, especially weekends

Chef Position

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality Australian-style breakfasts and Japanese-inspired dishes
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet café standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen workspace
  • Work closely with front-of-house staff for smooth service
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a café or restaurant kitchen
  • Culinary school graduate (commercial cookery or equivalent)
  • Skilled in Australian-style breakfast and/or Japanese café dishes
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Team player with excellent communication
  • Flexible to work at both Ringwood and Deepdene locations (training in Ringwood first)

Hours:

  • Part-time: 20–30 hours per week
  • Full-time: Up to 38 hours per week
  • Roster includes weekends
