Standing Room Coffee is a much-loved neighbourhood café in Fitzroy North, known for quality coffee, thoughtful + delicious food, and warm hospitality. We're looking for a Qualified Chef to join our small, experienced team and support our Head and Sous Chef in delivering a consistent, high-quality menu.

The Role
  • Minimum 24 hours per week, across Friday–Monday (4 days).
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in running a simple, quality-focused menu.
  • Work with a close-knit, professional team in a supportive and collaborative kitchen environment.
  • Enjoy daytime-only hours, perfect for work-life balance.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified chef.
  • A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate in a small team.
  • Weekend availability is essential.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and pride in delivering consistent quality.
