Right now, we're looking for a motivated and commercially-minded individual to join our used car team as a Vehicle Buyer.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source quality pre-owned vehicles through, auctions, wholesalers, and private channels

• Work closely with the Used Car Sales Manager to maintain the right stock mix and volume

• Negotiate effectively with sellers and manage the full buying process

• Build strong relationships with wholesalers and suppliers

• Monitor market trends to ensure competitive buying decisions

• Support the sales team with product knowledge and stock availability

• Assist in preparing vehicles for retail, ensuring all stock meets company standards


REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in automotive buying, valuations, or used vehicle appraisals

• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen

• Excellent knowledge of used vehicle pricing, reconditioning costs, and desirability

• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Tech-savvy with experience using valuation tools and dealership management systems

• Current driver's licence
