CrashClaim are Australia's largest and leading accident management business offering a full 360-degree service to people who have had a motor vehicle accident. We assist people with their motor vehicle claim, helping them from the point of impact, supply an accident replacement vehicle, through to the delivery of their vehicle.

We are experiencing strong and sustained growth and looking for a dedicated and versatile accountant with an eye for detail. This role is ideal for someone who is not only technically qualified but also willing to roll up their sleeves and handle the detail when required. We use Xero as our accounting platform which is integrated with out custom database for fleet management and accident property compensation recovery

The Role:

You will be part of a small team of accountants responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions as well as contributing to financial reporting and analysis. While the role involves higher-level accounting tasks, it also requires data entry and transaction processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Maintaining accurate general ledger records
  • Preparing BAS, payroll, and compliance reports
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Providing support for budgeting and forecasting
  • Data entry and transactional processing as part of the role

About You:

  • Qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent, or working towards)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of commercial accounting experience required
  • Diploma of Accounting as minimum education requirement
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable with both high-level reporting and day-to-day data entry
  • Proficient in and at least the equivalent to 2 years full-time hands-on experience with Xero.
  • Xero certification will be viewed favourably.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A practical, hands-on attitude with willingness to "get the job done"
  • Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident.
  • Must be highly skilled in Excel for financial modelling, reporting, and data management and analysis.
