We are seeking an experienced
Environment Advisor
to lead in the renewable energy sector.

About the Role


• Preparing and reviewing environmental assessment, risk assessment (due diligence), approval and construction management plan documentation for renewable energy projects across Australia.


• Identifying and managing environmental and sustainability risks across projects in varying stages of development to ensure requirements are met.


• Supporting the tender process by providing environmental technical input for projects, including the coordination, management, and review of specialists.


• Providing support and guidance across the business to ensure a deep understanding of environmental and sustainability issues, opportunities, and risks.


• Developing, monitoring and reporting on key environmental and sustainability performance indicators through the delivery of projects.


• Provide technical support within the business, in particular, to site project teams in the identification and management of environmental issues.


• Working as part of an integrated team to further develop and maintain the Integrated Management System.


• Liaising with clients, government, regulatory authorities on environmental and sustainability issues.


• Undertaking inspections and audits and investigation support to projects, as required.

About You


• Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, planning, management, or engineering.


• 3-5+ years' experience in environmental assessment, approvals, or onsite construction environmental management.


• Strong working knowledge and understanding of Federal and Victorian environmental planning, permitting and approval legislation.


• Excellent written, communication, presentation, time management, and organizational skills, including fluency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project PowerPoint).


• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary project/program teams on a range of projects, clients, and internal and external stakeholders.


• Current driver's license.
