Environment & Heritage Advisor job in Melbourne for a major transport operator.

**Your new company**

A key stakeholder in the development & delivery of a very broad portfolio of projects spanning all functional areas of rail infrastructure, rollingstock and operations.

**Your new role**

Working in the Program and Delivery Projects team, you’ll be responsible for:

- Developing & reviewing Environmental Management System documentation including but not limited to Construction Environment Management Plans (CEMP), Site Environmental Implementation Plans (SEIP) and Environmental Management Frameworks (EMF)
- Facilitating flora/fauna surveys & other environmental investigations and determining permitting requirements & approvals pathways
- Preparing and delivering Environmental Awareness training and materials
- Performing compliance inspections, reporting requirements to Environmental Regulators and related authorities

**What you'll need to succeed**

As well as having tertiary qualifications in Environmental Sciences/Engineering or a related discipline, you’ll have:

- Experience in environmental and infrastructure related projects (preferred)
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to tailor communication style to suit a variety of different audiences
- Proven experience within a construction environment (advantageous, but not essential)
