Silverstone is recruiting on behalf of our gold client for a Laboratory Supervisor to lead their onsite laboratory team on an 8/6 roster. This is a hands-on role where you'll oversee lab operations, ensuring accurate results and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the onsite laboratory team, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Oversee sample preparation, analysis, reporting, and QA/QC processes for gold and associated minerals.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide timely and reliable laboratory results.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage staff schedules, training, and performance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a laboratory supervisory role, preferably within mining or metallurgical operations.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, QA/QC procedures, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on an 8/6 roster in a remote or site-based environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or equivalent.
  • S26 course completed or willing to complete by March 2026.
