About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and Senior Manager/ Director to join our Business Services team. You will work closely with experienced partners and be involved in providing a range of accounting and taxation services to a diverse client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to provide accounting, tax and business advisory support;
  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships;
  • Assist clients with business activity statements (BAS), fringe benefits tax (FBT), and payroll tax obligations;
  • Communicate with external stakeholders including the ATO, ASIC, government agencies and other professionals;
  • Support client queries on day-to-day accounting matters and cloud accounting software (Xero, MYOB, etc.);
  • Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis when required;
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business (Accounting or Finance major preferred)
  • Working towards or already enrolled in CA/CPA program

Required Skills:

  • High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience using MYOB, Xero, and Reckon APS (preferred);
  • Must hold a valid visa with full work rights in Australia;
  • Prior experience working in an accounting firm;
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred but not essential.
