About the role

We're looking for a personable and proactive HR Generalist to join our supportive HR team in the south-east metro area. This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen your HR foundations while also bringing your own ideas to life. You'll have the chance to contribute meaningfully to our workplace culture and help shape initiatives that matter to you.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice, support and coaching to employees, driving continual improvement and conformance.
  • Leading field recruitment campaigns in conjunction with Business Unit Managers
  • Creating contracts and HR documentation
  • Coordinating training, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborating with Business Unit General Managers, Safety and support functions
  • Interpreting Enterprise Agreements and provide IR advise
  • Updating and creating policies & procedures – providing best practice suggestions
  • Preparing internal monthly and quarterly HR reports along with Vinci Group reporting
  • Managing and developing HR strategies that are to be delivered across Business Units to achieve continual improvement
  • Recruiting and administering Apprentice and Graduate programs
  • Fostering and supporting a collaborative and transparent culture

What you will need:

  • 2-3 years' experience in operational HR role (experience in the energy industry would be advantageous)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or similar
  • Enterprise Bargaining Agreement exposure/experience within blue collar environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & word
  • Experience in using a Human Resource Information System be available for occasional interstate and intrastate travel.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test
  • A Current Drivers License
