We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our small, friendly team, working alongside other receptionists. We're seeking an empathetic and compassionate person who has a genuine interest in mental health. The right candidate must be a team player, have a positive attitude and eager to learn.

We have a team of professionals including Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Endocrinologist who deliver effective, safe, and evidence-based health services. We actively collaborate with General Practitioners and other Medical Specialists to achieve a state of well-being for our patients.

Job Description

  • Medical receptionist (experience required) and administration: your role involves but is not limited to Greeting patients, attending to telephone calls, and booking and rescheduling patients' appointments.
  • Patient service face to face, over the telephone & emails in a confidential manner.
  • Accurately completing client billing and payments (e.g. Medicare, Workcover, DVA and private patients)
  • Document filing, scanning, and preparation of the patient records
  • Adhering to clinic policies and procedures
  • Attention to detail, with excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Proficient computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office, Emails and excel.
  • Calendar management, including booking patient appointments using Coreplus - cloud-based software.
  • You must have a current valid driving license.

Hours

  • The clinic is open Monday to Friday 0830 – 1730 NSW time
  • Casual hours available – 2 positions available, approximately 16 hours per week, per position

Salary:

$34.00 per hour – based on experience and performance.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $34.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • TWEED HEADS, NSW 2485: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Medical admin: 1 year (Required)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)

Work Location: In person
