About the RoleAs Account Director, you'll lead key client relationships and protect the conditions for great work. You'll be a steady hand in complex situations, guiding clients with confidence and ensuring Block delivers outcomes that matter.
This role is senior and hands-on. You'll work closely with Strategy and Creative to turn bold ideas into effective results while spotting opportunities to grow partnerships along the way.
It's not "maintenance mode." You'll be delivering the experience of Block itself – for clients, for the team, and for the work.
What You'll DoLead Client Partnerships
Build long-term, trusted relationships grounded in openness and respect.
Guide clients with clarity and confidence, aligning work to their goals and our values.
Spot opportunities that add client value and strengthen Block's sustainability.
Champion Creativity & Strategy
Translate complex challenges into clear, inspiring briefs.
Collaborate with Strategy and Creative leads to deliver imaginative, effective work.
Provide feedback and insight that elevates both the ideas and the results.
Support the Team
Foster a culture of respect, support, and shared success.
Bring clarity in ambiguity, guiding with calm authority.
Keep workflows, budgets, and timelines on track so the team can thrive.
6+ years' experience leading client partnerships in an agency environment.
Passionate about ideas and creativity as a force for transformation.
A confident communicator and relationship-builder who can hold the room and backs both the client and the team.
Commercially sharp, with a track record of growing accounts.
Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and proactive in tough moments.
Works collaboratively with confidence and humility, contributing to a team culture free of ego.
Brings curiosity and openness to every conversation, helping ideas grow stronger.
