Job Title: Warehouse Labourer

Job Description: The Warehouse Labourer is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our production line, focusing on the preparation and recycling of battery components, maintaining workshop cleanliness, and ensuring safety compliance. You have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workplace safety and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Battery Preparation and Recycling:


• Strip batteries, clean and paint battery trays for new builds, and manage the recycling process of scrap batteries, ensuring materials are efficiently sorted, weighed, and wrapped.

Workshop Maintenance:


• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the workshop. This includes cutting up excess battery crates for pallets and assisting in other cleaning roles to ensure the facility meets all safety compliance standards.

Assembly Work:


• Perform top assembly work on batteries as required, contributing to the manufacturing process and ensuring products meet our quality standards.

Safety Compliance:


• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of protective glasses and other personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Pride in Presentation:


• Always maintain a professional personal presentation, reflecting the company's commitment to quality and professionalism.

Team Support:


• Act as a supportive team member, willing to assist in various tasks to ensure operational efficiency. This may include acting as a backup truck driver or other roles as a last resort to meet operational needs. Industrial Batteries Australia Pty Ltd ABN –

Workshop Cleanliness:


• Maintenance of workshop cleanliness and organization standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Productivity in Assembly Work:


• Quality and speed in completing top assembly tasks, ensuring batteries are ready for the next stage of production.

Flexibility and Team Support:


• Demonstrated willingness to take on various roles within the team, especially in critical situations, to maintain production efficiency.
