About the Role

Our client is a well-known glass manufacturing company based in Penrith who require warehouse labourers to assist in their squareware division. They require keen, eager, fit and strong individuals that are available for 3 (12hr) shifts a week on a 7-day rotating roster for approximately 4 weeks. 

About You

You will be a reliable, enthusiastic, physically fit and strong individual happy to work in an industrial environment. You will ideally have full and/or flexible availability to work full time hours, with a minimum of 5 days of availability each week.

You must have steel toe work boots and long sleeve high vis clothing for this position.Hours

Monday to Sunday 

7:00am - 7:00pm

7:00pm - 7:00am

Rate

$ $38.25

You will be required to attend 1 training day prior to commencing in this role, you must be available between 11th-18th September to attend a set timeslot on a day shift.

Training: $26.00

Responsibilities

· You will be responsible for working on the production lines ensuring the lines runs smoothly with no fallen glassware, moving glassware as needed by hand.

· You will be monitoring the lines for even and consistent flow of glassware.

· Ensure the quality of the glassware on each line meets standards.

The successful candidate will possess:

· Able to stand for long periods of time

· Able to handle heat

· Fluent English, verbal and written

· Immediate availability

· Keen and eager attitude with a desire to work hard and impress

· High vis shirt and steel toe boots

· Able to pass a drug and alcohol, police and medical check

· Availability to work regular consistent Monday-Sunday shifts

Please note that due to the nature of the work and needing to be able to work full time hours, our client is NOT accepting student VISAs (subclass 500) at this time.
