Our collaborative
Internal Audit
team helps clients to improve business processes and control measures so that executives are confident key risks are being managed and decision making can occur with speed and precision.

The Role
In This Role, You Will Create Value By
We are seeking a highly motivated internal audit manager based in the Northern Territory, who is passionate about working with public purpose clients, and helping to build more equitable, resilient, secure and prosperous communities. In this role, you will create value by:

  • Living and promoting our organisational values; and building and fostering our unique team culture

  • Managing the delivery of internal audit engagements and programs, across multiple clients
  • Leading internal audit engagement teams, and ensuring high quality and insightful internal audits to our public purpose clients
  • Developing external relationships with and reporting to client stakeholders, including line management, executive management and audit committee
  • Developing internal relationships across our national internal audit practice, and with experts and specialists across the broader FRC capability and other service areas
  • Providing expertise on matters of risk management, corporate governance, business processes, controls and compliance across a range of public sector industries and clients
  • Developing the skills and capabilities of our junior team members through providing effective on the job training
  • Supporting business development through contributing to the preparation of Request for Tender responses and development of thought-leadership material.

Technically, You Likely Bring To The Position

  • 5+ years of demonstrated internal audit and risk experience, managing the delivery of internal audit engagements or programs.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment is desired but not mandatory.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications, with CIA being preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver internal audit projects and programs to a high-quality
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders across team members.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of internal audit and risk management methodologies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, preparing written internal audit reports (for partner review) and presenting to client stakeholders.
  • Continuous learning mindset, staying informed and abreast of key trends, risks, developments and innovations that may impact our clients, our services or our ways of working.

This role is based in Darwin (Northern Territory), however will get the opportunity to work on our national portfolio of clients.
