- Oversee key software and systems (e.g. FYI, XPM, ATOmate, NowInfinity), ensuring they're up to date and optimised for how we work
- Monitor budgets, time allocations, and compliance with statutory deadlines
- Ensure ASIC and ATO compliance across the firm
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver key outcomes
- Review, design, and implement policies, procedures, and process improvements
- Prepare internal reports and provide insights to inform strategic planning
- Be a strong people leader, supporting a team across multiple locations
About YOU:
- Proven experience in a practice management or similar role, preferably within an accounting or professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting firm processes, financial management, and client service best practices.
- Proficiency with accounting firm software (e.g. FYI, XPM, Xero) and office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Xero, ATOMate, NowInfinity, FuseSign).
- Experience working with FYI is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead a team to success.
- Passion for process improvement.
Where and how you can work:
This is a hybrid role and could be based in our Sydney (Surry Hills) or our Melbourne office (Cremorne or Moorabbin).
