We're on the lookout for an Equipment Rental Coordinator to bolster our dynamic team.

Here, you can expect to learn from our experienced Delivery & Operations team, working with products and services to streamline drilling, completions and well intervention activities, as well a the toughest gear for pushing and pulling.

Based at our Marine Support Base in Henderson on a full-time basis, you'll play a crucial role in assisting with our ongoing offshore projects, both local and international; be provided with opportunities for career advancement and upskilling, and get a day off for your birthday

Whilst this role reports to the Service Co-Ordinator, it involves a large amount of autonomy, making it the perfect role for someone who is looking to take ownership and make the role their own, whilst effectively collaborating with their team.

This role will involve:-

  • Day-to-day operations of our sister company, Green Monster Offshore, including timely responses to customer enquiries via phone, email and website, preparing quotes and assisting with procurement & logistics;
  • Asset management and record keeping;
  • Ensuring our equipment is maintained and ready for offshore use;
  • Operating our equipment onsite when required, both onshore and offshore;
  • Providing our clients with great quality service;
  • Helping to train junior colleagues;
  • Preparation of project documentation;
  • Assisting with business development and identification of new clients and markets;
  • Ensuring compliance with all of AME's policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

  • 2 - 5 years experience in a similar role;
  • Mechanical qualification (e.g., mechanical fitting) is an advantage; understanding of hydraulics, pneumatic systems, winches, lifting and mooring is essential.
  • Oil and Gas industry experience is highly preferable;
  • Must be able to pass OGUK medical and BOSIET, if not already obtained;
  • Excellent mechanical problem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box;
  • Proficient in MS Office;
  • Be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a small team;
  • Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
