Your New Role and Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a Program Support Officer to support a program management office for a Federal Government program.

Reporting into a Program Manager and working alongside a collaborative and tight-nit project team, you will have the opportunity to build and develop your project management experience.

You will be supported and valued as well as being surrounded by a team of high-quality professionals to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with staff onboarding and maintain related documentation.
  • Support financial tasks including work authorisation emails, cost reporting, forecasting, and reviews with managers.
  • Help manage project deliverables, including template management, draft development, coordination, tracking, and quality reviews.
  • Support Knowledge Management by administering SharePoint and maintaining wiki articles.
  • Assist with risk management, stage-gate reviews, program communications, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of project/program management.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and advanced skills required.
  • Experience with SharePoint (O365) administration and PowerBI reporting.
  • Relevant certifications: PMI CAPM and ITIL Foundation.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance and be able to uplift to NV-1 level clearance.
