About the role

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced fulltime Uniform Store Manager to join the team in our flagship store in Hawthorn. Being prepared to work a 5 day week, and one Saturday every fortnight.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting in leading and motivating a team of retail sales associates
  • Overseeing daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service
  • Implementing and monitoring store policies and procedures to ensure compliance and optimal efficiency
  • Identifying and implementing strategies to drive sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall store performance
  • Providing training and development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborating with the wider organisation to support the achievement of business objective
  • Maintaining an excellent, presentable store image & upholding school ethos.

About You

Along with a strong work ethic and at least 3 years previous experience in a similar environment you'll have/be:

  • Full Australian Working rights or be a permanent resident - essential
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation, time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Computer literacy & point-of-sale skills
  • Availability during peak retail periods including school holidays.
  • Passion for the retail industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
