About the role

We are seeking an experienced Department Manager to join our team at TOTAL WINDOW CONCEPTS in our Yatala, QLD location. This is a full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a key department within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage, motivate and develop a team of production and admin staff
  • Ensure quoted lead times are achieved on all products
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive production to maximise productivity
  • Monitor department KPIs and take corrective action as needed
  • Plan and manage and control inventory to suitable levels in line with production schedules
  • Collaborate with other department managers to support the overall success of the business
  • Maintain a safe, organised and well-presented department

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Department Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in analysing data and using it to drive business improvements
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tertiary qualification in business, manufacturing or a related field is preferred
