Matt Stone Racing is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Partnerships Executive to become part of the Commercial team at one of Supercar's fastest growing and dynamic teams. This is a new position created to grow our expanding commercial department.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This full-time role is based at MSR HQ in Yatala. Working alongside our current Partnerships and Communications manager, this role will involve identifying potential partners and sponsors for the team, assisting in negotiating partnership and sponsorship agreements, and ensuring smooth collaboration between the team and partners to drive financial growth and innovation.

As part of this role your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide support to the Partnerships Manager
• Develop sponsorship procurement methods
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with MSR partners
• Develop a broader partnerships and PR strategy
• Coordinate deliverables (facilitating the execution of items within contracts)
• Managing event specific allocations – ticketing, pit tours, grid walks
• Contribute on ideas related to commercial and PR department
• Attending race meetings, industry events and networking functions to promote the teams and cultivate relationships.

MSR is a versatile and flexible team. The duties above are not exhaustive and the position may be tailored to the applicant's individual skills and abilities. Due to the nature of our business, the ideal candidate must be flexible to work odd hours, including weekends and be available for interstate and international travel.

What We're Looking For:

Individual

• 1-3 years experience in partnerships, sponsorship or business development sports or entertainment, with previous experience working within the sporting industry being highly advantageous.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines (especially during race seasons).
• A passion for motorsport and a sound understanding of the motorsport industry.
• Excellent communication skills with a developed persuasive ability
• Ability to operate autonomously while still being an active and collaborate member with a team environment

Skills

• Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline
• Proficient in technical writing with sound journalistic principles
• Computer literate – MS Office, plus (preferred) in Design/Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro or similar
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within an organization
• Sound administrative skills
• Numerical and verbal critical reasoning skills
