The Catering Project Group is looking for a dynamic experienced kitchen Porter who thrives in a busy kitchen and wants to work with a great inspiring team. Young & fun environment, close to public transport. Operating 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our residents (NO late nights).

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Washing dishes, cutlery, plates, pots, etc.
  • Cleaning and sterilizing countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
  • Availability to work across all days of the week although most volume business occurs on weekday
  • Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day
  • Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
  • Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
  • Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
  • Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling and washing food items

Availability to work across all days of the week.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.31 – $45.24 per hour
