About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Front of House Team Member to join our busy sushi restaurant. This is a customer-facing role focused on providing excellent service and keeping the restaurant running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and interact with customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
  • Operate the POS system and handle both cash and card transactions accurately
  • Take customer orders and assist with dine-in and takeaway requests
  • Pack takeaway orders carefully to maintain food quality
  • Restock supplies and ensure the front-of-house is always tidy and well-presented
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the front-of-house
  • Support the team with other general front-of-house duties as required

What You'll Need to Succeed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1–2 years of experience as a hospitality all-rounder (front-of-house preferred)
  • Availability to work shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00
  • Experience in food handling (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
