We are seeking a proactive and experienced Learning & Development Manager to join our expanding team based in our Alexandria Studio.
This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating impactful learning initiatives that enhance employee capability, engagement, and performance across our retail stores and head office, with a particular focus on developing expertise within our network.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and execute a learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives and retail performance priorities.
- Lead the design of a structured training framework that includes onboarding, product training, compliance, customer experience and leadership development.
- Deliver a mix of in-store, classroom, and digital training programs to support both technical (e.g. product knowledge, POS systems) and behavioural competencies (e.g. customer service, leadership).
- Facilitate onboarding and milestone programs across the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with the Retail Division to identify training needs and build programs that drive store performance and enhance client experience.
- Oversee and continuously improve the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is user-friendly, regularly updated and used effectively.
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness, participation, engagement, and business impact.
- Conduct regular travel to interstate stores to facilitate in-person training and build strong relationships with store teams.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development or a related field is essential.
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role within a luxury brand.
- Strong background in instructional design, learning facilitation and LMS management.
- Skills on Cin 7 or similar ERP system preferred.
- Ability to travel interstate regularly.
- Professional and engaging presentation skills.
- Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Adaptable, proactive, and passionate about building a culture of learning and growth.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present ideas simply and engagingly.
- Ability to build trust and alignment across teams and drive outcomes through collaboration and clear communication.
