Join a small, patient-focused orthopaedic specialist team in Woden. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care in a supportive and professional environment — and we're looking for a friendly, reliable Medical Receptionist to become part of our growing practice.

This is a permanent part-time role (2 days per week) with the requirement to provide additional leave cover — notice will be given where possible, though occasional short-notice sick leave cover may be needed.

As our practice grows, this position is expected to increase to 4–5 days per week. We will also be welcoming a new surgeon in early 2026, creating further opportunities for development within the role.

About the Role

You will support our doctors and administration team in delivering high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones and assisting patients with empathy and professionalism
  • Scheduling appointments and managing patient enquiries
  • Providing administrative support to the doctors and wider team
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is a team player and enjoys working collaboratively in a small practice
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Takes pride in providing outstanding service to patients
  • Is adaptable, reliable, and willing to help wherever needed

Experience in medical reception or healthcare administration is highly regarded but not essential for the right person with the right attitude.
