Medical Receptionist

Join a small, patient-focused **orthopaedic specialist team** in Woden. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care in a supportive and professional environment — and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable **Medical Receptionist** to become part of our growing practice.

This is a **permanent part-time role (2 days per week)** with the requirement to provide **additional leave cover** — notice will be given where possible, though occasional **short-notice sick leave cover** may be needed.

As our practice grows, this position is expected to **increase to 4-5 days per week**. We will also be welcoming a new surgeon in early 2026, creating further opportunities for development within the role.

**About the Role**

You will support our doctors and administration team in delivering high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include:

- Answering phones and assisting patients with empathy and professionalism
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient enquiries
- Providing administrative support to the doctors and wider team
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is a **team player** and enjoys working collaboratively in a small practice
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Takes pride in providing outstanding service to patients
- Is adaptable, reliable, and willing to help wherever needed

Experience in medical reception or healthcare administration is highly regarded but not essential for the right person with the right attitude.
