Project Manager Positon

The ideal candidate will coordinate, hire facilitators, and implement projects within a preapproved budget, timeline, and scope. The projects include but are not limited to cooking classes, barista classes, a getting back to work program, an AOD and mental health program, and the establishment of a psychology department to support the homeless and needy, The candidate will also be responsible for advertising, networking, monitoring, and presenting project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members as well as collecting statistical data to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs. They must have a heart for our clientele and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, hire, and manage facilitators for various projects.Implement and oversee projects within preapproved budgets, timelines, and scopes.Plan and execute programs, including cooking classes, barista classes, a back-to-work program, and AOD and mental health initiatives.Lead the establishment of a psychology department to support the homeless and those in need.Advertise programs and engage in networking to build partnerships and awareness.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs through statistical data collection and analysis.Present project updates to stakeholders, clients, and team members.Support and coach project team members in assigned tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management, social work, psychology, or a related field.Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and managing community-focused programs.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and program deliverables effectively.Empathy and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable populations.Proficiency in collecting and analyzing data to measure program outcomes.Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.

The role is 2 days per week totalling 12 hours and pays $47.95 per hour plus 12% super. The role also attracts a salary sacrifice option.Please send resumes to
