This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in IT, particularly in the digital technology space. The Application Support Analyst – Digital Systems will be responsible for supporting Hungry Jack's restaurant digital platforms, with a primary focus on in-store technologies such as Digital Menu Boards, Kiosks, and QSIC music streaming services. Over time, the role will expand to include support for the Hungry Jack's mobile app, website, delivery platforms, and associated digital integration services.
Candidates with basic IT knowledge gained through training, certifications, or hands-on experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be someone with a strong interest in digital technologies, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monitoring and support of digital systems, ensuring the stability and performance of platforms such as Kiosks, Digital Menu Boards, and music services
- Respond to incidents and service requests, particularly those escalated from internal or external support teams
- Provide after-hours support when required via an escalation process
- Assist with the resolution of complex technical issues beyond first-line support capabilities
- Participate in the testing and coordination of software upgrades across digital platforms
- Contribute to ongoing system and process improvement initiatives
- Liaise with application vendors to ensure services are delivered in line with agreed service levels
- Manage digital platforms which includes AWS and Azure.
- Travel for work related activities such as fixing an issue in-store and supporting store opening
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated interest in technology and a genuine desire to pursue a career in IT, especially within the digital space
- Foundational IT knowledge acquired through education, certifications, or self-learning
- Proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle technical support interactions professionally
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks based on business impact and urgency
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of IT systems used in Hungry Jack's restaurants or similar retail/food service environments
- Previous experience supporting digital content systems, self-service kiosks, or in-store infotainment/music solutions
- Familiarity with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, LightSail, and CloudFront
- Exposure to Point-of-Sale (POS) and online ordering technologies
- Experience with scripting or development tools such as Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and Postman
