The Role (snapshot)
  • Conduct functional assessments and deliver evidence‑informed, goal‑directed interventions.
  • Manage a varied adult caseload across community, clinic and telehealth.
  • Collaborate with families, Support Coordinators, GPs and allied health partners.
  • Maintain timely, clear documentation aligned to funder requirements.
  • Contribute to service innovation and quality improvement.

A typical week

  • Balanced mix of client sessions, travel and protected admin/report time.
  • Case consults with the team; supervision or mentoring (depending on level).
  • Opportunities to build capability in areas you care about (e.g. complex functional assessment, AT, home mods, cognitive rehab, SIL/ROCs, behaviour‑informed practice).

Must‑haves

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
  • Australian Driver's Licence and confidence with community travel.
  • Right to work in Australia; NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain).
  • Compassionate communicator who's organised, accountable and client‑centred.
  • Familiarity with NDIS/community funding (we'll support you to deepen this).

Nice to have

  • Experience in neuro / ABI, psychosocial disability, or complex cognitive rehab.
  • Report writing for NDIS/NIISQ (FCA, AT, SIL/ROC, home mods) and outcome measures.
  • Interest in mentoring juniors or leading service development.
Salary & benefits
  • Base: $90,000–$120,000 (commensurate with experience) + 12% super.
  • Bonuses: 5–10% of base, reviewed quarterly (quality, outcomes, contribution).
