Cleveland District State High School is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and enthusiastic Deputy Principal to join our team and lead improvements in student outcomes while fostering positive relationships within the school community.

The Deputy Principal will form part of the leadership team that will assist the Executive Principle in delivering quality outcomes for our school in line with the strategic direction of the department and the school.

Cleveland High is a large secondary school located in the heart of the Redlands and is a short drive east of Brisbane. It is a school with a strong academic focus and has a clear continuous improvement agenda. All staff are accountable for ensuring optimal achievement for every student. Cleveland is a school of excellence for Creative Arts and is the home of the Bayside Sports Academy.

  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
  • Be futures oriented and strategic.
  • Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling.
