Our highly skilled team at Cockburn Medical Centre has not only a passion for helping people feel better, but for helping them live better lives.  Our dedicated and caring team is made up of 17 Doctors, 1 Dietitian, 1 Podiatrist, 3 Nurses, 1 Counsellor, 7 Receptionists and the Practice Manager.

Position

The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Practice, ensuring high quality patient experience and business growth.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for health care, thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy making a positive impact on both staff and patients.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

·       Managing the daily clinic operations, policies and procedures.

·       Overseeing and co-ordinating reception and nursing staff.

·       Ensuring smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling.

·       Managing rosters, timesheets, and leave planning.

·       Overseeing of billing and Medicare claims.

·       Payroll, timesheets and leave scheduling.

·       Accounts payable.

·       Responsible for onboarding of staff and ongoing performance management.

·       Ensuring compliance with health regulations and accreditation standards are maintained.

·       Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.

·       Liaising with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.

·       Promote a positive, professional and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

·       Previous healthcare industry experience is essential.

·       High level of organisation and administration skills with a strong attention to detail.

·       Strong leadership and organisational skills.

·       Previous experience of Best Practice software.

·       Knowledge in processing Medicare Claims and Health Funds.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Previous experience of Best Practice software.
