At Design Intoto, we design for the moment of choice — the spark when someone decides what they're hungry for, what looks good, and what feels right.

We've been shaping those moments for over 35 years, working with the world's biggest food and retail brands (
KFC globally, and more
). From menu boards that millions see every day, to retail campaigns rolled out across 20+ countries — our work has real impact, and our team loves seeing it out in the world. About the Role

We're looking for a
Mid-Weight Designer
who's ready to step up, stretch their creativity, and grow their craft. This role is about more than pushing pixels — it's about shaping how brands look and feel in the real world.

Your toolkit will be
Figma first
(we've shifted much of our workflow there), backed up by solid Adobe Creative Suite skills. You'll be building layouts, designing retail comms, and creating assets across digital, print, and motion. And you'll also get the chance to dip into
junior Art direction on food photoshoots
— learning how to shape imagery, tell stories visually, and develop your own flair with guidance from senior art directors.

What you'll do

  • Design across
    digital, print, motion, and in-store comms
    .
  • Create and adapt menu boards and retail assets for local and global markets.
  • Work daily in
    Figma
    , building flexible layouts and collaborating with the team.
  • Jump into food photoshoots, supporting with junior art direction.
  • Bring brand guidelines to life — and know when to bend them with fresh ideas.
  • Stay on top of trends and bring cultural awareness to every project.
  • Keep files tidy, production-ready, and easy for the team to use.

What we're looking for

  • Confident Figma skills
    (you know how to build and collaborate in a shared file).
  • Advanced
    Adobe Creative Suite
    skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Solid grasp of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • A sharp eye for detail and consistency.
  • Curiosity and creativity — you like asking "why not?" as much as "why."
  • Comfortable working to deadlines, with good communication skills.
  • An interest in food, photography, and how design drives behaviour.
  • An ability to draw and scamp layouts for photoshoots is also advantageous.
  • All candidates must have a relevant Australian work Visa.
