Seeking: Assistant Manager

Location: Jubilee Hotel, Fortitude Valley

The Jubilee Hotel, located in the vibrant Fortitude Valley, is a renowned establishment known for its exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on providing an outstanding experience for our guests, and we are looking for a dedicated Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant  Manager to support the overall operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all facets of hotel management, including gaming, and will possess a current RMLV (Responsible Service of Liquor) and approved manager's license.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the venue manager in daily operations and management of the hotel.

- Oversee all departments, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

- Manage gaming operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

- Train, mentor, and develop staff to create a high-performing team.

- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.

- Monitor financial performance and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.

- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote hotel services and events.

Qualifications

- Current RMLV and approved manager's license.

- Proven experience in hotel management, with a strong understanding of all hotel operations, including gaming.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- A customer-focused approach with a passion for hospitality.
