Connecting Futures has been selected to deliver Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) (formerly Disability Employment Services) as a specialist Youth aged 25 and under provider in Bendigo, Castlemaine, Maryborough, Echuca, Kyabram and Shepparton.
We have multiple roles across the Bendigo and Goulburn Valley ESA's
The Role
As our Youth Employment Mentor, you work as an integral member of our Connecting Futures Employment team, working alongside young adults aged 15-25 years to achieve their employment goals. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate career planning, supporting inclusive recruitment practices and post placement support aligned with Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program guidelines.

- Strong time management and the ability to work autonomously
- Competent administrative and computer skills

Key Responsibilities include:
- Delivering mentoring services and facilitating career planning
- Building customised employment opportunities for young adults
- Engaging with employers and stakeholders to create inclusive recruitment pathways
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in line with IEA guidelines
- Adhering to IEA compliance standards and participating in audits
- Supporting young adults in developing soft skills and self-belief
- Collaborating with the team and contributing to continuous improvement
