Are you passionate about providing direct support to clients who are at risk of, or are experiencing homelessness?  Join Cafs, a values-driven organisation as our Housing and Homelessness Practitioner ? Entry Point in Bacchus Marsh. Join our Housing & Homelessness team to make a real impact supporting individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Our diverse programs span crisis support, transitional housing, tenancy advocacy, and specialist services for youth, families, and those affected by family violence. Please note, this is a part time position for 38 hours per fortnight, the arrangement and pattern of hours is to be agreed upon with the successful candidate, in line with operational requirements.

About You

We are looking for a motivated, values-driven individual with demonstrated experience working in housing or a related field. The ideal candidate will thrive when working autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Skills & Attributes

  • Demonstrated experience working in Social Work, Housing or related field
  • Ability to build and maintain professional networks within the homelessness sector.
  • Ability to undertake thorough needs and risk assessment for presenting clients, including the needs of any accompanying children.
  • Ability to operate within funding agreements and maintain all administrative requirements such as case notes and monthly data reporting.
