As a Senior Analyst within our IT Internal Audit team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful assurance services to some of Australia's most influential ASX-listed companies and public sector organisations.

What will your typical day look like?

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT assurance engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.

Design and test technology controls aligned with industry best practices and assurance standards and communicate technical findings clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Support business development efforts through proposal writing and stakeholder engagement.

Stay informed on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends impacting clients' technology environments.

About the team

As a key member of Deloitte's Control Assurance practice, you will advise and consult on large-scale IT risk and controls engagements, focusing on internal audits and technology assurance programs. You'll have the opportunity to:

Lead and manage complex IT audit projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet industry standards and client expectations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, evaluate technology controls and strengthen clients' IT governance, operational resilience, and data security frameworks.

Build strong client relationships, uncover new opportunities, and contribute to Deloitte's growth in the technology risk space.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

3+ years' experience in IT internal audit, advisory, or consulting roles, with proven project management skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP) are highly regarded.

Strong technical expertise in designing and testing controls within internal audit or assurance functions.

Experience with assurance standards such as SOC 1, SOC 2, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks like APRA CPS 234, CPS 230, and CPG 235.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Business acumen with a focus on identifying opportunities and delivering value to clients.
