Senior Business Analyst page is loaded## Senior Business Analystlocations: Perthtime type: Full timeposted on: Heute ausgeschriebenjob requisition id: JR17719We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.Reporting to the Energy Analytics Manager, we are looking for a **Senior Business Analyst** acts as a data analysis expert and plays a pivotal role in our IPP Solutions Analytics Team focusing on resolving the existing data challenge and building the data warehouse for PPA contracts.Here are some of the perks and rewards.* Flexible, hybrid working arrangements* Competitive compensation and bonus program* A range of career development opportunities* Paid training programs and tuition reimbursement* Safety-focused culture* Community volunteering program**What you’ll do*** Leverage a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information supporting the function* Build a deep contextual and domain knowledge for existing PPA contracts and potential future contract expansion* Verify data quality, build scalable tools and communicate findings with the most effective and efficient methods* Define, track, and report on key energy metrics such as LCOE, capacity factors, availability, and variance against plan or contractual guarantees* Model financial exposure to underperformance, including liquidated damages (LDs), and guarantee shortfalls* Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business questions into clear analytical requirements and actionable outputs.**To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:*** Tertiary qualification in Economics, Data Science or Engineering with experience in data analytics relating to industrial or engineering environments.* Cleaning, validating, and transforming raw data into structured datasets ready for analysis* Managing data processes by building queries, macros, and VBA scripts, organizing datasets and designing intuitive reports and dashboards* Retrieving and analyzing large data sets using Excel, SQL, and other data management or BI tools, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness* Conducting deep-dive and root-cause analyses of anomalies, underperformance and unexpected operational outcomes* Well versed in quantitative approaches and methods for extrapolating information to fill data gapsIf you're ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role in a dynamic environment, apply now to be a part of our dedicated team at Aggreko.**Join us.
