About Us:

Global-Mark is an Australian-owned certification company located in North Ryde, just a short walk from the North Ryde Metro station. We are seeking a self-driven Electrical Product Safety Certification Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering our electrical product safety certification services.

About the position:

Reporting to Program Manager - Electrical Safety, you will be responsible for reviewing client application documents against the relevant Electrical Standards (AS/NZS and IEC), and making informed technical decisions.

We're flexible for the right candidate, whether you're seeking a contract role or full-/part-time employment. Remote or hybrid working arrangements are available by mutual agreement, following successful completion of onboarding and training activities.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have a positive and collaborative approach, working closely with our electrical team.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian electrical product safety standards
  • Knowledge and understanding of state-based safety regulations covering electrical products
  • Hands-on experience in electrical safety compliance (with a manufacturer, laboratory or another certification body)
  • Ability to work independently and impartially
  • Meets the 'fit and proper person' requirements
  • Australia or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident

Experience and/or knowledge in the certification sector or equivalent regulated industry is desirable.
