About us

SEW-EURODRIVE is a world-leading designer, developer and supplier of mechanical power transmission systems and motor control electronics. Its range of integrated solutions includes gear motors and gear units, high torque industrial gear units, high-efficiency motors, electronic frequency inverters and servo drive systems, decentralised drive systems, plus engineered solutions and after-sales technical support/training.

The Australian division of SEW-EURODRIVE is headquartered in Melbourne and is supported by offices in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia. SEW delivers motion solutions to various industries, from mining to bottling facilities and from escalators to theme park ride.

The role

Based in our Bundamba Office, you will be involved in the sales process from initial inquiry to delivery, working as a part of a successful, performance and client focused team with willing culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high levels of customer service
  • Handling incoming technical sales enquiries
  • Assisting with product selection
  • Providing quotations and processing sales orders
  • Supporting internal and external sales teams
  • Offering technical advice about our product range
  • Working with other departments, management and staff

About you

Technical sales experience with mechanical or electromechanical industrial products would be highly regarded

  • Understanding of SAP/R3 and CRM would be highly regarded
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player as well as independently
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Willing to learn and improve your skills in a stable and secure setting
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities and enjoy working in a fast paced setting
  • Good verbal and written communication skills including a pleasant and professional telephone manner
  • PC skills and strong numeracy including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
