About The Role:
The Digital Learning Specialist will focus on the design and development of fit for purpose eLearning initiatives and programs, that are measurable, meet objectives and expectations, and are aligned to strategic, organisational and occupational requirements. The role will support and enable learning experiences for all MTC team members in Australia
This role will work collaboratively with business leaders, MTC's RTO (TSS) and the broader People and Culture function to deliver tailored and effective multimedia learning strategies and programs to build employee capability and contribute to the improvement of individual and organisational performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement digital learning strategies in alignment with learning and professional development initiatives, policies, strategies and projects to build capability across the organisation.
- Apply knowledge of instructional design theory, adult learning theory and 70:20:10 learning model to create digital learning programs, resources and tools
- Ensure that learning experiences for all audiences, including team members with English as a second language, are learner centric, fit for purpose and delivered in appropriate modalities and channels.
- Implement MTCs approach to online and blended learning, taking into account the diversity of work environments and learner needs.
- Analyse and evaluate existing digital learning offerings, make recommendations for improvement, and implement these changes.
- Deliver digital learning solutions, products and processes which are well researched and align to expected business outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in learning and development specialising in digital eLearning
- Highly proficient in the use of multimedia digital technology and authoring tools including graphic design, HTML/Web publishing, digital imagery and animation.
- Demonstrated experience designing a range of online learning programs, initiatives, tools and resources for diverse audiences.
- Proficient in recording and editing video and audio in multimedia production.
- Proficient in analysing information, data and evaluate results to inform the best solutions, and solve problems.
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline, or Certificate IV in training and assessment or equivalent professional experience.
- High proficiency in using multimedia and eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Vyond, Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora publisher, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.) Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams,Skype, Sharepoint, etc.)
