We're looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to assist a wheelchair user with daily living needs.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Carers / Support Workers to assist client/s who are living with physical disability. The role involves providing support with daily living activities and personal care in a respectful and professional manner. Along with community Access.

Key Details

  • Shift Times: Morning shifts, 6:00am – 9:00am, 8:00am - 12:00pm/13:00pm - 15:00pm and Evening shifts 18:00pm - 21:30pm
  • Days: Variable roster (flexibility required)
  • Additional Work: Other shifts may be available with different clients within the building and in the Gold Coast. We also operate OSS (Onsite Shared Supports) where we support participants in the building during the days and overnights (Sleepover)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care and daily living needs
  • Provide mobility support and safe wheelchair transfers
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Maintain a supportive and respectful environment
  • Follow care plans and training provided

About You

  • Experience in disability or aged care support (preferred but not essential)
  • A caring and empathetic approach
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Willingness to learn and undertake training
  • Experience in mental health and behavioural situations
  • Willing to learn and follow care plans
