The Opportunity

A new opportunity has opened for a talented Environment & Planning lawyer to join a respected and forward-thinking team in Brisbane. This role is ideal for someone ready to deepen their expertise in environmental, planning, and land access law — or for an experienced practitioner seeking a new challenge with a sophisticated client portfolio.

The position has been created in response to growing client demand and offers flexibility in both PQE level and working arrangements. High-calibre part-time candidates are also encouraged to apply.

What You'll Be Working On

You'll advise and represent clients across a diverse mix of matters, including:

  • Environmental and planning approvals, compliance, and appeals
  • Native title, cultural heritage, and land access issues
  • Advisory work for government, developers, and major corporates
  • Specialist litigation and dispute resolution matters across multiple jurisdictions

You'll gain exposure to both front-end advisory work and back-end disputes, offering a truly well-rounded experience in this specialist field.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a lawyer who combines technical ability with curiosity and drive. You'll have excellent drafting and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning. Experience in any of the following areas — environment, planning, native title, or land access — will be highly regarded.
