About the role
Based in Scoresby, Victoria, this is a full-time role conducted on site 5 days a per week.
As the National Account Manager – Pharmacy & New Zealand, you will lead our growth strategy within the Pharmacy channel and our New Zealand business through our distributor. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales, achieve targets, build brand awareness, and secure optimal product placement across these channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for specific Pharmacy accounts and the New Zealand channel.
- Build strong relationships with key pharmacy customers, wholesalers, and decision-makers at national levels.
- Secure new product listings, negotiate favourable placements, and optimize product distribution.
- Develop and manage promotional activities to drive product awareness, trial, and purchase.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer buying patterns to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to retailers, effectively communicating product benefits and value propositions.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a National Account Manager within Pharmacy (Chemist Warehouse preferred), with a strong understanding of the channel.
- Strategic sales management experience, including launching new products in existing and new channels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, coach, mentor, and motivate employees.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel interstate for meetings and client visits.
