Job Description- Full Time role – Ferntree Gully location
- $23.77 p/h + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
- 12 month max-term contract
Are you looking to kickstart your career in oral health while gaining hands-on experience and a nationally recognised qualification? Each is seeking a Trainee Dental Assistant to join our Oral Health team based in Ferntree Gully.
Your role, your impact
As a Trainee Dental Assistant, you'll be supported to acquire fundamental clinical knowledge and practical skills in dental/oral health while completing a Certificate III in Dental Assisting through an approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
In this role, you will:
Provide clinical chairside assistance to dental clinicians
Assist with infection control and the sterilisation of instruments and equipment
Work closely with the oral health team to deliver safe, high quality, and effective public dental services
Develop skills and experience in line with training modules
Build your communication, teamwork, and time management capabilities in a professional healthcare environment
This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you'll be exposed to all facets of dental assisting in a supportive team.
