The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs), and providing training and guidance to families, support workers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and gather information from participants, families, and support networks.
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) that are person-centred, practical, and compliant with NDIS Commission requirements.
- Provide capacity-building strategies and coaching to families, carers, and support staff.
- Monitor, review, and update support plans to reflect participant progress and changes in needs.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (psychologists, allied health professionals, support coordinators, educators, etc.) to ensure holistic support.
- Work in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines and uphold ethical, trauma-informed practice.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Behavioural Science, or a related field.
- Registered or eligible to register as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Commission.
- Demonstrated experience in behaviour support, functional assessment, and behaviour intervention planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage participants, families, and support networks in a collaborative way.
- High level of professional integrity, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to participant rights and autonomy.
- Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check.
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
- Own vehicle.
