Job Description

Outcomes Connect Australia (OCA) expanded into Queensland from Victoria in 2024. We are excited to announce that we are continuing our expansion in 2025 and are now building a team in New South Wales. For the NSW team, we are looking for early career Behaviour Support Practitioners who
live in or close to the suburbs of Liverpool or Bankstown.

We will consider people who have limited experience working as a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner and a sound knowledge of The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework for reducing the use of restrictive practices, along with a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner you will...

  • Support our clients (NDIS participants), along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Identify meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Famework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
  • Ensure individual plans reflect our clients' goals, passions and strengths
  • Build the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support our clients - family, carers, friends, etc

About you

  • Current suitability (i.e. registration) with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Demonstrated ability to work positively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Confident computer skills
  • Flawless writing skills
  • Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle

Qualifications

  • Degree level qualifications of relevance to providing support to people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred
