Client Relationship Officer

As our Client Relationship Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting participants from their first enquiry through to ongoing engagement with Arete Care's services.
Reporting to the Senior Community & Relationships Manager, you'll manage intake and referral processes, build strong participant and stakeholder relationships, and promote collaboration across teams to deliver person-centred outcomes.
You'll also contribute to creating welcoming and homely environments across supported accommodation services, reflecting Arete Care's commitment to quality and inclusion.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge and support of Arete Care's policies and procedures.
- Manage the intake and referral process, ensuring timely and accurate communication with participants and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing participants, providing consistent support and follow-up.
- Conduct participant check-ins and satisfaction surveys to ensure a high standard of service and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain effective communication and service coordination.
- Support accommodation setup and coordination, including assisting with furniture orders and layouts to create homely environments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date intake and relationship records.
- Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative, and safe workplace culture.
- Respect individuals' right to privacy and protect Arete Care's information and intellectual property.
- Promote health and safety through active consultation and communication.
- Participate in supervision, performance development, and ongoing learning and development.
We're seeking an empathetic and organised professional who values meaningful relationships and thrives in a collaborative environment.
You'll bring:
- Relevant qualification and/or experience in Nursing, Social Work, Support Coordination, or Operations.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in NDIS, client intake, case management, or participant engagement.
- Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred care principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and manage sensitive information with empathy.
- Proven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with sound judgment on escalation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client management systems.
- Understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and workplace diversity requirements.
- A current driver's licence and clearance under the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme.
