WISE Employment is seeking a HR Graduate. This Graduate level role will assist with a range of activities in the delivery of a variety of HR Programs and activities such as recruitment, retention, talent management and operational support and advice to the business.

A day in the role involves...
- Working collaboratively to continuously improve processes associated with induction, onboarding, performance management and development and recruitment.
- Supporting HR Manager in all people related activities such as: case management, grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Supporting the Talent Acquisition Team with administration related to end-to-end recruitment. This includes: advertising roles, generating offers and working with key stakeholders to ensure our records are up to date.
- Identifying any risk and compliance issues related to human resource matters including compliance with all relevant workplace legislative requirements and employee health, safety and wellbeing.
- Undertaking projects, including: consultation, planning, managing, implementation and resolution of project issues.
- Establishing and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Keeping up-to-date with:
o Human Resource Management related trends and developments
o Relevant legislation, such as OH&S, EEO Acts
o WISE policies and procedures
What you will bring to the Team:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or similar
- An approachable style, happy to work collaboratively with your team and stakeholders
- Strong organisational & time management skills
- Self-motivated and the personal drive to progress
- Adaptability and a positive attitude towards change
- Highly organised with a great attention to detail
- Flexible and capable of changing focus quickly
- Able to multitask and prioritise duties in a fast paced environment
- Discrete and understand the need for confidentiality
- Excellent in written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
- Able to take the initiative, get things done and take ownership of all tasks
Strongly computer literate, particularly in the Microsoft Office Word, Excel
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary level qualifications in HR or similar
- Strong understanding of contemporary human resource management including sound knowledge of Employment law and policies (National Awards and Fair Work Act).
- Good problem solving skills
- Advanced communication skills (written and oral)
- Advanced organisational and time management skills
- Sound computer skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good project management and presentations skills
Advanced interpersonal skills
Desirable Criteria
- A demonstrated understanding of award interpretation
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Return to Work
