Clinical Nurse - Medical Ward

Full time position available

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our busy General Medical Ward, specialising in the care of older adult and elderly patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient centred care.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse, you will utilise your advanced clinical expertise to coordinate and deliver evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient mix. You will provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Nurseor senior Registered Nurse within a general medical or geriatric setting.
  • Advanced clinical assessment, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Commitment to patient centred care, particularly for older adult and elderly populations.

Further Information

  • Working with Children Check
  • Evidence of COVID vaccination and other relevant infectious diseases screening that complies with current health directives.
