About Your Role
As a Clinical Nurse with Logan MIRT, you'll provide advanced clinical care and leadership within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
In This Role You Will
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health nursing care to people with complex needs
- Coordinate clozapine clinic and depot medication management
- Conduct physical health assessments and ongoing metabolic monitoring
- Facilitate and co-facilitate group programs supporting consumer recovery
- Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and education to nursing staff and students
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and research initiatives
About You
You're an experienced mental health nurse with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed care.
You Will Bring
- Advanced clinical skills and experience in mental health assessment, care planning, and intervention
- Demonstrated understanding of psychiatric rehabilitation principles
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2016 and clozapine medication management
- Group facilitation skills and ability to lead recovery-focused programs
- Commitment to continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and professional development
- Post graduate qualification or current enrolment in a post graduate program in a relevant area of study (highly desirable)
