Position Overview

As a Partner Account Executive (PAM) at Extreme Networks, you will play a pivotal role in managing, developing, and growing our partnerships within the assigned territory. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth by maximizing partners' net new opportunities through effective business planning, pipeline management, enablement, sales coaching, marketing, and forecasting. This role requires collaboration across various internal teams to ensure partners receive the support needed to achieve their sales and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Partner Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact within Extreme Networks. Foster relationships with key stakeholders to increase brand awareness and mindshare.
Channel Strategy Alignment:
  • Align channel strategies with regional sales goals to increase revenue within the assigned territory.
Partner Acquisition and Onboarding:
  • Collaborate with regional teams and distributors to identify gaps in channel coverage. Lead the onboarding process for new partners, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and support.
Enablement and Training:
  • Organize regular updates, training sessions, and events for channel partners to review new products, programs, and marketing activities.
Pipeline and Forecast Management:
  • Collaborate with regional account executives and partners to drive pipeline creation. Monitor and manage sales forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with targets.
Program Compliance:
  • Ensure partners comply with Extreme Networks' partner programs and initiatives. Organize regular updates and reviews to maintain alignment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or channel management, preferably within the networking, cloud, AI, or security sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business plans, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment, influencing cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
